¿Enseñar a escribir en la universidad? La emergencia de la alfabetización académica
Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to elicit the discussion about the emergency that has been generated in the field of academic writing in the Ecuadorian University. As an initial approach, we will consider the state of the arts by describing the ways Latin-American, European and North-American universities have faced this problem. Afterwards, we will analyze the situation of academic writing at the University of Cuenca. Finally, we will give an account of two propositions from the Faculty of Philosophy in order to start a conversation with other faculties and universities of the country.
