¿Qué m!3%#@ es género? Experiencia de autoaprendizaje en línea a guionistas para mejorar las representaciones de mujeres y población LGBTQI+ en los medios ecuatorianos.
Abstract:
This research was done with the intention of piloting the Online Course: Gender Representations in the Media of Project Zoom, in order to explore if the scriptwriter's learning experience allows the integral development of the knowledge acquired as necessary to improve gender representations in women and the LGBTQI + population. The scriptwriters' answers were analyzed in relation to the two questionnaires constructed: the exit questionnaire and the self-learning perception questionnaire; that they had to do at the end of the course. In the results of the research, it was observed that the Online Course of Zoom Project works efficiently by generating new knowledge in the scriptwriters in relation to the results obtained in both questionnaires, to improve the representations of gender in the Ecuadorian media. However, there is a huge influence in the culture, the media and the heteronormative / androcentric society ove people is still seen, since recognizing and understanding the current situation does not necessarily mean that changes will be made in this regard.
