“Construcción de la reputación online de un líder político, caso del presidente chileno Sebastián Piñera”


Abstract:

This research analyzes the online reputation of the Chilean president, Sebastián Piñera, in the social network of microblogging Twitter in a time range between October 2019 and April 2021. To carry out this work, first a data collection of the API of Twiter, from the hashtag #PiñeraCTM and #LeninAsesino. After the collection, 10 tweets were assigned from eacho president (20 in total). Subsequently, the website https://getdaytrends.com was used to search for the hashtag which the study was carried out. The hashtag #PiñeraAsesino was selected with 8,100 tweets that were processed through a digital textual analysis. The results showed that the reputation of the Chilean president was negatively affected because the people of Chile in their Twitter accounts showed their opinion of repudiation of the Piñera government during the protest of October 2019.
