“Reputación online del expresidente Lenin Moreno Garcés a partir de la opinión pública generada en la plataforma de microblogging twitter entre el periodo 2019-2021”

Abstract:

The present research aims to determine the online reputation of Latin American political leaders in the context of protests, focusing on Ecuador and Chile. This particular paper focuses on the reputation of the former president of Ecuador, Lenin Moreno Garcés in the period 2019- 2021 through the microblogging platform Twitter. The website https://getdaytrends.com was used as a tool for the search of the hashtag with which the research was conducted, in this case #FueraLenin with a sample of 3116 tweets. The methodological design has a mixed approach, therefore qualitative and quantitative data were analyzed. In addition, the textual analysis allowed the qualitative interpretation of the tweets as well as quantitative data that enriched the research.The main results obtained determine the reputation of former president Lenin Moreno as negative or unfavorable.
