Development of ‘Machay’: A Space Mission Video Game in Unity with Arcade Methodology
Abstract:
The video game “Machay” is an exciting adventure set in a spaceship, developed on the Unity platform and following the Model-View-Controller (MVC) methodology and the Arcade methodology. In “Machay,” players immerse themselves in a unique interactive experience as they explore the spaceship and face various challenges. The game has been developed following a solid organizational structure based on the MVC pattern, which has allowed for efficient management of business logic, visual presentation, and player interaction. The Arcade methodology has been employed to ensure a dynamic and thrilling gaming experience. Additionally, artificial intelligence techniques have been applied to control the behavior of enemies, who react differently depending on the difficulty level. This implementation has significantly improved gameplay and immersion in the game. In summary, “Machay” is an exciting mission-based video game set in a spaceship, developed on the Unity platform, and guided by the MVC and Arcade methodologies. The implementation of artificial intelligence in the enemies has enhanced the gaming experience, offering players a captivating interactive adventure in space.
