A feasibility Study of a Stand Alone System Hybrid Based on PV/HKT/BB/FC
Abstract:
This article presents a feasibility study and the techno economic evaluation of the autonomous hybrid system composed of photovoltaic panel, hydrokinetic turbine, battery bank and fuel cell, to meet the energy demand of an island. The HOMER software is used for the techno economic evaluation, the optimization is achieved through hundreds of simulations examining the parameters initial cost, total net present cost of the system (TNPC) and the cost of energy (COE).
