Apendicectomía: factores de riesgo de complicaciones post-operatorias. Estudio a realizar en el Hospital Abel Gilbert Pontón período 2015
Abstract:
Objective. The main objective for this research was to determine the risk factors for complications following an appendectomy, also the complications are identified and relate between if the risk factors with the complications of appendectomy Material and Methods This I realize across a study observacional indirectly, the design of the investigation that I use is not experimentally, retrospectively and transversely in adult patients attended in the area of hospitalization of the hospital Abel Gilbert Pontón in a sample of 100 adult patients apendicectomizados hospitalized, submitted to criteria of incorporation and exclusion. For the obtaining of an exact information I use the compilation of information of the clinical histories of the patients who were realized apendicectomía. The association of complications was investigated according to certain factors as: sex, age, comorbilidades, type of incision, surgical time, phase of the appendicitis, prophylactic antibiotics. Results: With the obtained information it was possible to verify the existence of postoperatory complications in 28 % of the cases that were realized apendicectomia. It was possible to identify the most frequent complication that was the infection of surgical wound appearing in 42 % of the patients. That the factors of risk of this study that more influenced in order that a postoperatory complication is established were: The phase of appendicitis to the surgical moment that was the perforativa 57 %, the time preoperatorio passed> 48 hours in 57 % of the cases before being controlled, the type of incision practised forthwith surgical inframediaumbilical 48 % of cases.
