Use of orcid as a unique and universal identifier for researchers

Abstract:

The article analyzes the importance of adopting the ORCID as a digital identifier for authors, which will allow the updating of the researcher curriculum and the determination of metrics in scientific production. It also shows how to create and update the profile, taking into account the ease of its adoption and its presence in the editorial management systems of the scientific journals with the greatest impact.
