EVALUATIONS OF THE TREATMENT OF FILES IN JUDICIAL PRACTICE

Abstract:

Introduction: The management of judicial files has an end as primary sources of legal information but also for knowledge of the practices and uses of society; either from a political, administrative, economic point of view. Objective to develop an analysis of some archival elements and their application to judicial archives in Ecuador from an integral perspective of the processes. Scientific methods: qualitative research methods were used, specifically the deductive analytic and the document analysis technique, with which the propitious elements for the development of this research will be repaired and deduced. Conclusions: Judicial archives are very important to develop a modern and transparent society, where the necessary elements for human development come together in the free exercise of their right. In the case of Ecuador, the legal treatment that has historically been given to judicial archives gives the measure of their importance. The principles and rules of documentary treatment that were analyzed are perfectly applicable to judicial files. Normalizing the processes of archival treatment of judicial documents guarantees access to Historical Memory.
