Aplicación de la técnica de B-Lynch en atonía uterina Hospital Matilde Hidalgo de Procel período 2018


Abstract:

The uterine atony consists of a pathological process in which there is no normal contractility of the muscle fibers of the uterus after delivery or of a cesarean, thus preventing normal hemostasis from occurring. Objective: To determine the application of the B Lynch technique in the therapeutic and preventive management of postpartum hemorrhage produced by uterine atony in the Matilde Hidalgo Hospital of Procel in the period 2018 Methodology and Results: A descriptive, retrospective study was proposed in which a total of 80 cases of postpartum haemorrhage due to uterine atony were analyzed. The age range in which the largest number of cases was identified was between 11 to 18 years with 51, 25%, occurred in mestizas with 72.5%, of urban origin in 57.5%, of secondary education in 68.75%, the pregnant women had between 1 to 4 controls in 41.25%, the The cause of postpartum haemorrhage was placenta previa in 17.5%; 75% of the cases of postpartum haemorrhage due to uterine atony was managed in a non-pharmacological way, and in terms of the results of the B Lynch technique, this did not fail in 96.25% KEY WORDS: Postpartum Hemorrhage, Uterine Atony, Technique B Lynch, Risk Factors
