Design of a sustainable production development model to promote local development in rural communities in Ecuador
Abstract:
Introduction: The objective of this research is to propose a model that promotes local development in the Parroquia La Unión, Cantón Jipijapa, Manabí, focused on strengthening productive capacity and social inclusion. Methodology: A diagnosis of various local problems is carried out, proposing solutions through public policies, access to technologies and training in productive knowledge. The methods used include logical-historical analysis, synthesis and an inductive-deductive approach. Results: The importance of implementing public policies that promote productive and social development is highlighted. In addition, the need to incorporate sustainability into the development model is highlighted, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Latin America and the Caribbean. Conclusions: Sustainable development is crucial for rural communities in Ecuador, where productive practices that respect the environment must be encouraged. It is essential to design models that promote social inclusion and reduce inequalities.
