Aplicación de peroxido de hidrogeno para el control de oidio (Oidium sp.) en el cultivo de mora (Rubus glaucus Benth.) bajo cubierta plastica.
Abstract:
The trial was conducted in blackberry plants in the Querochaca Campus belonging to the Technical University of Ambato, province of Tungurahua. For the purpose of handling powdery mildew in the cultivation of blackberry (Rubus Glaucus Benth) with the application of hydrogen peroxide under cover. A randomized complete block design with a 3x2 + 1 factorial arrangement with three replications was used. The variables studied were index of incidence and the index of severity. These are of great importance to obtain optimal results about the attack of phytopathogenic fungi. To proceed with the processing of the collected information, the analysis of variance (ADEVA) was performed on the sources of variation that were significant; the Tukey tests were applied at 5%. The incidence and severity of powdery mildew in leaves and branches at the beginning of the experiment showed statistically equal values, which means that there is no variation in the analyzes due to the fact that in this stage the application of the treatments has not yet been carried out. Once applied hydrogen peroxide it was found that the incidence of powdery mildew on leaves was lower in the D1F1 treatment (1.5 cc / l of hydrogen peroxide every 7 days) with a value of 17.4% because the product It acts on the fungus when it comes into direct contact, which caused a decrease in incidence. In the same way, the application of a higher dose in the same frequency of application produces a decrease in the incidence of powdery mildew in branches, this is verified with the results that could be obtained in the treatment D2F1 (2.0 cc / l of hydrogen peroxide every 7 days) having a value of 17.2% incidence of powdery mildew was the best of the treatments studied. The application of hydrogen peroxide carried out in this experiment considerably reduced the severity of powdery mildew in both leaves and branches, which is concluded from the analyzes carried out since all the treatments were located in the first range of significance, although the control had an incidence higher, therefore, it was located in the second rank of statistical significance.
