Aplicación del proceso de atención de enfermería en el preoperatorio de pacientes quirúrgicos del Hospital Monte Sinaí Cuenca 2015
Abstract:
Antecedents: Nursing Care Process "NCP" is a systematic method that provides humanistic and efficient (1). The hospital of Monte Sinai performed 3,236 surgeries (2); of surgeries occupy much of the daily work of the nurse (3). Study Objective: To identify the application process for Nursing Care pre-operative surgical patients at the Hospital Monte Sinai, Cuenca in 2015. Methodology: This research is descriptive quantitative cross section the same way is done at the hospital “Monte Sinai”. The study population is 31 nursing professionals who perform rotating shifts in the hospital service. The technique that was used was direct observation; a questionnaire was made as an instrument of knowledge and an observation form by the authors in order to get information about the application process of Nursing Care in the preoperative of surgical patients. The information was analyzed and coded using SPSS 15.00 and EXCEL. Results: The 28 professionals and 3 nursing graduate’s shows that 48.4% have a medium knowledge, and only 3.2% obtained a high knowledge. As for the compliance stage of NCP in the assessment, 100% checked identification data. In the diagnostic step the 100% identifies and prioritizes problems. In planning 93.5% specific care plans. In the execution stage 100% provide individualized care. In the evaluation stage 100% performs written and oral report. Conclusion: The results of the investigation show that the level of implementation is directly related to the level of knowledge, the professionals have an average knowledge of the NCP application is not made
