Abstract:

The degree dissertation is based on the design, construction and implementation of SCADA, that allows real-time monitoring of the status of protections for medium-voltage transformers under the concept of using an S7-1200 PLC and a LOGO! 8 immersed in a master-slave communication on ethernet. For this task, a module that contains a LOGO!8 PLC will be designed and built. This module will be able to obtain in an accessible way the command of inputs, outputs and ethernet port of the controller. This project will contribute with the knowledge of an effective model to make a communication between Siemens S7-1200 controllers and LOGO! 8, as well as the academic contribution of a practical module towards the career of Electrical Engineering, in such a way that it can be used in the learning of future generations
