Aporte de la producción arrocera del cantón Daule en el sector agrícola de la provincia del Guayas período 2012-2016

Abstract:

In the present work of investigation the production of rice in Ecuador is analyzed, particularly in the Daule canton of the province of Guayas, considered the most extensive crop and occupying more than a third of the surface of transitory products of the country. It is one of the most important crops and of greater consumption, reason why it is located in the first place at national level. It was determined that it is the main source of income and is the main contribution to the development of the economy of the canton, due to the extensive hectares of land that the canton possesses. In order to analyze the factors of rice cultivation, interviews were carried out with the farmers of the rice sector to know the problems that arise from the moment of beginning the sowing of the grass, until the harvest and the importance that the rice has in the homes. In conclusion it was determined that due to the use of certified seeds there is an excellent production
