Apoyo Educativo familiar a un estudiante con N.E.E., en un proceso de Educación virtual


Abstract:

Overprotection is one of the most recurrent obstacles in special education, especially in those cases in which the family is involved. The affective bond thus becomes a factor that prevents close people from assuming an objective attitude towards the student, so that they act motivated by the natural and understandable desire for protection. This scenario is part of the complex and delicate daily life that special education addresses. In this context, education mustrespond with proposals that guarantee that the teaching process is fulfilling its objectives, especially in cases in which an impact on school performance is detected due to overprotection. This document includes the educational implementation process with a pedagogical companion with a tendency to overprotection, with the aim of carrying out an adaptation process that allows improving the educational process of the student in question. For the execution, an action research model was used that allowed the improvement of educational practice through synchronous and asynchronous work with the family pedagogical companion of a student with Down syndrome, who evidenced a decrease in performance when virtual education began. The application of the innovation yielded unexpected results due to the insufficiency of pedagogical knowledge to generate a significant change, but it allowed to make visible the importance of the psychological dimension of the pedagogical companions in a complex context such as that of disability.
