Application of ISO 25000 for Comparative Analysis of Cross-Platform Mobile Application Development Tools

Abstract:

It is reasonable to think that the mobile app developer community prefers the use of native platforms when it claims to get better performance relative to runtime in its products. However, there is a choice for cross-platform development. This document provides a comparative analysis of the features provided by the different tools supported by Apache Cordova for the development of mobile applications with the use of ISO 25000. The objective of this research work is to identify the most convenient environment for the development of contextsensitive mobile applications, starting from the generation of the same mobile application for four tools: Visual Studio, Ionic, Cocoon and Evo, using different conditions for their execution and analyzing comparison parameters that show any difficulty in execution, in this way the developer can decide better when starting a project for the creation of a multiplatform mobile application.
