Application of decision making techniques to the analysis of the situation of the elderly in ecuador against undue income tax payments
Abstract:
Older adults are a majority in the Ecuadorian population, who suffer from social abuse, loneliness, non-acceptance, lack of affection and insufficient income as their main problems. Therefore, the government must protect this vulnerable group of people from social processes in order to comply with the policy of Buen Vivir. The policies established for their protection are not applied according to the legislation, which has affected several aspects of the life of the elderly, among them the proce-dures for the payment of rent. In this aspect, according to Ecuadorian law, these people have benefits of which they are not aware and allows people to take advantage of this in a malicious way. For the analysis of the situation the following techniques were used: Method of Analysis of Solution of Problems (MASP), PESTEL and AHP Saaty. Through which it was obtained as a result that, when applying the hierarchy of causes, it was possible to observe the congruence between the effects of political and legal causes with economic consequences, with a directly proportional positive relationship. It can be inferred, then, that if the political environment is improved, so will the legal environment, which will then influence the other dimensions analyzed.
