Application of effective leadership systems in 3-star hotels through online means of measurement

Abstract:

The objective of the research was to know the perceptions of managers regarding effective leadership in three-star hotels located in Manabí, Ecuador. A quantitative approach of a correlational type, an applicative nature and an explanatory level of depth was used; the qualitative and quantitative method was applied. The instrument was validated by Cronbach’s Alpha, resulting in.994. The analysis of managers’ perceptions allowed us to conclude on the effectiveness of using the proposed evaluation instrument to evaluate effective leadership in three-star hotels in Manabí, Ecuador. It was possible to show that the main weakness of effective leadership according to the planning dimension is directly related to the leadership style, there is no pure leadership style, but leaders have combined traits of different styles. It was found that the predominant style is a mixture of the autocratic style with the democratic one.
