Application of nitrogen systems in the yield of quinoa adapted to technological systems
Abstract:
In this work, a completely randomized design with five treatments (0-50-100-150-200 kg N ha-1) and five repetitions was used. The results that prevailed in the effect of the use of N in the cultivation of quinoa were the lower availabilities in the soil, as is the case of 0 kg N ha-1. The optimal dose was 62 kg ha-1. The highest N content was evidenced in the treatment with 150 kg N ha-1, with 1.9% in the vegetative area (stems, leaves) and 2.7% in the grain, absorbing 274.7 and 173.9 kg N ha-1 respectively. The biomass production was 56.3 g pl-1 (14.97 t ha-1), a yield of 22.9 g pl-1 (6.40 t ha-1), reflecting a harvest index of 0.43. In addition, the agronomic variables were 107.21 cm in height, 11.24 mm in stem diameter, 22.80 cm in root length, and an average of 1519 leaves.
