Application of pest-dafo methods for the diagnosis of the current situation of indigenous justice in ecuador


Abstract:

A concise justice system is a necessity for the people, its non-existence would imply the disappearance of identity. This is valuable among peoples with greater ethnic vitality such as indigenous peoples where their own customary law subsists. This criterion contrasts with the application of ordinary justice. The situation that today concerns the Indigenous Justice of Ecuador. Therefore, a systemic analysis is needed in order to offer a possible solution that will mitigate this situation. To this end, a combination of the analysis and diagnostic techniques PEST and SWOT are applied for decision making due to their wide versatility. The objective of this work is: To diagnose the factors that affect the way in which indigenous justice is applied. It is obtained as a main conclusion the strategy of establishing a bill regulating indigenous justice as an action to mitigate the situation.
