Application of photo-interpretation, hydrologic modeling and GIS techniques in an urban hydrology study in the Ecuadorian mountain ranges

Abstract:

From the hydrologic point of view the change of the use of soil is reflected on the answer that a basin hydrographic presents in extreme precipitations events. The present work tries to analyze the variation of the hydrologic answer of a basin in the increase of urban use in it combining technical of photo-interpretation, geographic information systems and hydrologic simulation.
