Applied technologies in the oil industry

Abstract:

New technologies, such as hydropneumatic mechanical pumping units, allow to establish new standards of operation and efficiency, improving the levels of technical and economic competence. These artificial lift systems are designed to offer operational versatility according to the requirement of each well in which it is used, integrating the hydropneumatic assisted pumping unit with an electrical system that allows adjusting the operation based on its particular performance. Pumping unit DYNAPUMPS is a computerized pumping unit system; it’s uses electronic sensors, hydraulic equipment and computerized monitoring systems with the purpose of extracting oil as efficiently as possible both for deep wells and for shallow wells. Some of these units have exceeded the production record of fluids for hydraulic systems, being able to produce rates that exceed10,000Bls/ d. With these, relevance is given to the technological advances used in the oil industry worldwide.
