Approach to quantum journalism: The next revolution

Abstract:

The academic claim of this paper is to circumscribe it to the science of communication (and social sciences) to debate the phenomenon of human interaction and its future evolution from the theory of quantum information to the journalistic field. A methodology with an interdisciplinary approach, of mixed character, is worked through two mental experiments of quantum physics: “the Young’s double slit” and “the paradox of the Schrödinger cat”. Both, used to examine the case of the plane that flew over – for hours– the Barajas Adolfo Suarez airport (Madrid) on February 3rd, 2020 in an emergency maneuver. As a result of the investigation, the subjective point of view of the observer was made visible, creating and modifying reality with the mere fact of observing it. It is concluded that quantum journalism opens new scenarios and probabilities of representing reality in information systems.
