Aprendizaje l?dico de polinomios con apoyo de material concreto en el 9? B de la Unidad Educativa 3 de Noviembre
Abstract:
The purpose of this innovation project is to evaluate the incidence of ludic with the support of concrete material for the learning of polynomials. We used the mixed approach with the Participatory Action Research Method contains a diagnosis of the educational situation, a theoretical and methodological foundation, as well as a design of activities that will be applied and evaluated. The sample included of 34 students from 9 ? B, whom were participants in the implementation, execution, and evaluation of the process. The techniques used were a diagnostic test, a final evaluation, and a survey of initial and final attitudes, based on a questionnaire. These techniques and instruments, in the first phase, determined the following results: Men look at the mathematics subject more pleasant and without significant complications in relation to women; the students aren't very motivated in math classes because they find it boring and, therefore, are uninteresting. Further, they have difficulty when solving the exercises, a situation reflected in the diagnostic test. All this motivated us to design a proposal with activities based on ludic and concrete material. At the end of the project, we concluded that the ludic and concrete material positively influenced the students At the terminate of the project, we concluded that our proposal positively influenced the students with respect to academic performance, attitude toward mathematics subject, interaction, and communication between them.
