Social networks as promoters of the teaching-learning process in Ecuador: a systematic review
Abstract:
Social networks are active agents and instruments within education and include the convergence in the same space of multiple resources and tools that enhance the teaching-learning process. The objective of this research is to investigate the experiences of integrating social networks (YouTube and Instagram) in the training processes of Ecuador, likewise, it aims to establish the scientific production registered in the last eight years regarding YouTube and Instagram as a learning strategy. and teaching. A systematic review is used in Web of Science and Scopus, applying a series of descriptors to extract the scientific articles under study. As a conclusion, it is obtained that YouTube and Instagram are two effective networks in the transmission/reception of knowledge and their application enhances the training processes, however, the scientific production in Ecuador on the subject is still limited, although with improvements in recent years.
