Cyber-participation contrast diversity of the “general interest” of the Media Agenda

Abstract:

Readers intervention and participation or feed-back through the Internet, with their commentaries about news published by digital journals, renew reflection on traditional process mediation and the characteristics and attributes or values which establish the general interest of the Media Agenda. This increasing flow of readers participation and interactivity could serve, at the same time, for contrasting newspaper efficacy and journalists when you need select the summary which appear every day in each Media Agenda. Do journalists coincide with the motivation of cyber-participation? A team of professors from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and from the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (Ecuador), compare the cyber-participation registered or trade in the Front Page of the main digital Journals from twenty Latin American countries with another eight European and north American journals.
