Architectural model based on Blockchain technology for property registration in Ecuador

Abstract:

The present investigation arises from the need to provide Ecuadorian citizens with a storage system that guarantees the information of the property registers of the principles of integrity, availability and confidentiality. Its objective was to propose an architectural model based on blockchain technology to affect the traceability and immutability of the information in the property registry in Ecuador. For this, by reviewing the literature, an analysis of the different types of Blockchain was carried out, their characteristics and functionality, the aforementioned proposal was designed. This model was sometimes an expert validation using the Delphi method. The results that were obtained based on two rounds of consultations show a stability, problems and consistency of the juices issued by the experts, for which it was concluded that the architectural model based on Blockchain technology for property registration in Ecuador is theoretically feasible for its application in the country.
