Analysis of the results of evaluation in higher technological institutes of Ecuador, using data mining techniques

Abstract:

The Technical and Technological Institutes are recognized as Institutions of Higher Education in Ecuador, grant third-level degrees and increase the opportunity for academic training in the Country; being higher education institutions, they have a firm commitment and responsibility to comply with the standards of quality of the Higher Education Quality Assurance Council (CACES); in this article, it is proposed through the use of data mining and unsupervised learning techniques such as hierarchical and K-means algorithms, to analyze the results of the evaluation process external implemented in 2020 of the Higher Technical and Technological Institutes of Ecuador.
