A millares surgir: recital en el que se interpretarán seis canciones tradicionales ecuatorianas de los siguientes géneros: pasillo, albazo, yaraví y pasacalle con fusión de rock, blues y funk

Abstract:

The research will be based on finding previous fusions of popular Ecuadorian songs with rock, Blues, and funk unders tanding the process that was carried out in them. There will be a division of three stages planned to take place in the process. Through a recital will try to present the arrangements of the selected themes to fusion it. The recital will be based on the interpretation of a portfolio of six traditional Ecuadorian songs fused with rock, blues, and funk. The research will consist of three stages: the first will be the selection of the themes to be arrangement: Ángel de Luz (pasillo), Sombras (pasillo), El Chullita Quiteño (pasacalle), Puñales (yaraví), A la Valentina (albazo), Pasional (pasillo). The second stage will be based on the search of the similarities of each genre and the realization of the arrangements of the selected themes, the same ones that will be rehearsed with the interpreters of the musician of the UDLA Music School and guests. And the final stage will consist of the interpretation of the same in a recital called “A Millares Surgir”, in front of a jury and invited public.
