Arturo System: A Miracle from 1996 to 2021 for Electronic Support Warfare in Ecuadorian Army

Abstract:

Telecommunications play a priority role in current military operations, so that, know the communication medium is of great importance, currently, a large percentage of communications go through the use of wireless media. This is why, in this article the device design for support electronic warfare is presented, the device is capable of monitoring the spectrum in the band from 9kHz to 6GHz, with 27MHz of instantaneous bandwidth and 24GHz/s of sweep speed, with the sweep speed it is possible to monitor large bandwidths. The device has three elements: omnidirectional broadband antenna, digital receiver and software to control the equipment; tests were carried out with successful results in: monitoring FM radio carriers, analog television carriers and capturing LTE user equipment and base station carriers.
