A model for social assessment of governmental areas through intangible assets
Abstract:
One of the main issues in governmental areas is assessment made by the general public on their management. Globalization and quick development of information technologies are changing behaviors, expression ways of citizens and organization values, increasing the denominated intangible assets to the detriment of the so called tangible assets. Knowing the information flux about many of the government initiatives is turning into a key task which is difficult for governments to get accomplished, as citizens express their opinion in digital ecosystems, sharing their experiences, expressing their opinions and exerting their influence quickly and reaching a wider audience. This speed in information transmission along with the lack of transversal management models of information in large organizations, hinders the task of aligning every government area in order to get a unique response as a single organization. In this work a model for transversal management of intangibles GE2AN is proposed for social assessment of governmental areas. The model is applied to several governmental areas, determining which intangible actives, extracted from digital ecosystems, have an impact in government action.
