A new Educational Conception for Professional training at Universities in Ecuador


Abstract:

Recent changes that have been taking place inside Ecuadorian universities are based on new trends found in Latin American and other international higher education institutions in correspondence with current Higher Education Law, Academic System Regulations and other provisions enforced in the higher education governing bodies of Ecuador. In response to these new requirements, a proposal for an alternative pedagogical concept of integration in training processes is presented. This concept is oriented towards the establishment of new forms of organization of knowledge and academic organization, and learning, from a systemic, integrated and contextualized view of such processes, thus it becomes the learning to be of professional training as a referent for the strengthening and transforming of today's Ecuadorian universities.
