Association of the grass Cenchrus purpureum vc Morado with two leguminous to different harvesting ages

Abstract:

The gender Cenchrus is of vital importance for the animal production, for its high volumes of biomass. The objective was to evaluate the characteristic agroprotucives of the association of the Cenchrus purpureus, with two leguminous. The investigation was developed in Santo Domingo, Ecuador. The experiment lasted 90 days, to the beginning of the evaluation; was carried out a harvesting of uniformity to 10 cm of the soil. Eight parcels of 7 x 2 m was distributed, divided in 24 sub-parcels with an area of 4 m2. The variables were measured long, wide and weight of the leaf, as well as I weigh of the forage, of the root of the leguminous, total of the forage and the leguminous, and the yields of dry matter of the King grass, fabaceas and total. The chemical indicators were dry matter, protein, gross fiber, and ash. A design of parcels was used divided with factorial arrangement of 2x3. ANOVA of double classification was applied with Statistic 8,1. The interaction between the associations and the age was significant for (P <0,001), for all the studied variables. The biggest values in the indicative morphological, of the yield and the quality were shown when using Kudzú in the association. It concluded that the association had a effect when increasing the indicative morphological and of the quality of the Cenchrus purpureus, especially when using the Kudzú. However, he age affection the chemical composition with the decrease of the protein.
