Avoiding vowel pronunciation interference of mother tongue in english through phonetic exercise
Abstract:
Taking into acount all the pronunciatian problems teachers face every day with their students and the lack of interest to study a second languaje, it is a good idea to describe and analyze how vowel pronunciation interference of mother tongue influences in students who are learnung English. To avoid this problem some games and activities are going to be presented to help improve students proninciation and why not teachers too. Since students start learning another language, in this case Englixh, they find it difficult due to the complexityof the different sound. These alternative are to reinformance teachers work in class.
