BONDING AND THE IMPORTANCE OF NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL MARITAL MATURITY
Abstract:
The present research work is of important relevance since it is focused on one of the most important problems within the legal institution of marriage, and we are talking exactly about the age to be able to get married, although the legislations of the world establish a minimum age to get married, it is important that there is a foundation that justifies such age, That is why the objective of this research consisted of analyzing the evolutionary process of neuropsychological maturity that supports the maturity of the higher cognitive functions to be able to make the decision to marry in order to guarantee the right to health of the couple and the members of the family nucleus, this research was carried out with the use of the Neuropsychological Battery of Executive Functions and Frontal Lobes instrument and from the legal part with a survey to the professionals of the area. The research is non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional, and the results focus on the fact that 18 years of age would be taken as the minimum age for marriage.
