Biocomercio como cadena de valor de las especies bioacuáticas para la internacionalización de los servicios ambientales del manglar
Abstract:
The riverly human communities and settlements of the mangrove ecosystem over time have developed their socio-economic activities immersed in the environmental resources and services provided by this ecosystem, but they have not developed a productive chain of these services due to the absence and lack of knowledge in the sustainable management and marketing of their products while maintaining quality logistics in the channeling of their products in the international market, this has led a group of students to implement non-traditional trade alternatives to improve their value chain such as bio-trade and sustainable trade. This study objectively analyses the current and future conditions of riverine communities in the implementation of biocommittee as a productive activity to improve their socio-economic and environmental conditions of the organizations and associations of crabs and fishermen of the central estuary of the Gulf of Guayaquil, the descriptive and documentary method was used as qualitative research, for this, a direct and structured interview was developed as a unit of analysis, determining that applying biocommittee in coastal marine communities will help generate jobs and improve the quality of life of the inhabitants, as well as evidence of the lack of environmental plans by the competent authorities.
