Biotechnology and applied management in the production of 1G and 2G bioethanol
Abstract:
The production of first-generation and second-generation bioethanol in the current and global context offers a sustainable alternative to the environment compared to fossil fuels. Business-industrial management has been consolidated in establishing the parameterization of control indicators and the estimation of the economic factors that participate in the selection of technologically efficient methods to produce biofuels. The main objective is to provide information on the biotechnological innovation of the first generation and second-generation production methodologies of bioethanol in the managerial context. The methodology is considered a validated design for systemic literature review, the level of research is exploratory and descriptive. Up-to-date publications belonging to various databases, such as Scopus and WoS, were considered up to the year 2022. The results show a scenario defined by advances in the domain of biotechnology to produce first and second-generation bioethanol, in an organizational context. It is concluded that industrial management for the production of biofuels is limited by decision-making based on economic investment and the tendency to adopt alternative processes that allow the production of biofuels from lignocellulosic material on food raw materials
