Bioética y Biopolítica: Su influencia en el marco de ejecución del buen vivir en Ecuador

Abstract:

Biopolitics is part of bioethics because it contains bioethical aspects that exceed the possibilities and capacities of bioethics. Thanks to this improvement, bioethics manages to take place in a wide, but unique way from itself. This is exactly the biopolitical. Bioethics has traditionally been understood from an anthropocentric perspective, leaving to one side the Biocentric area. This research demonstrates how well-understood bioethics and biopolitics are concerned about a broader aspect, which is the care, facilitation and exaltation of life in general on the planet (including human life to achieve good living); Of life as it is, and how it might be in the future. In short, of human life as of life in general in the universe. This understanding of bioethics and biopolitics, from an epistemology of the South, will allow us to address in a clearer way the new form of citizen coexistence in Ecuador (as established in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador), in diversity and harmony with nature, to achieve good living, the Sumak Kawsay. The main objective is to propose the need for a change within the structure of the system generating a horizontal dynamic that allows a better and greater citizen participation at the time of the creation and execution of the public policies aimed at effectuated the Sumak Kawsay.
