Bridge management: lessons from the American crisis

Abstract:

For the French, the crisis of the American public infrastructure was fascinating and fruitful in the beginning of the nineties. Fascinating due to the scale of the crisis and its duration. In view of this, the present study emphasises the lessons learned from the American crisis. A comparison is also made between the status of French management expenditures to that of the Americans.
