Bringing together teacher evaluation, observation, and improvement of instruction


Abstract:

DONALD J. REYES eacher evaluation systems can be used for a vari-T ety of purposes, but supporting the improvement of instruction in the secondary classroom should be their main focus. In this sense, evaluation indicates a process of analysis rather than marking or grading. The following suggestions are designed to help the secondary administrator develop an evaluation scheme that supports the improvement of instruction.
