CHARACTERISTICS OF RADIOLOGICAL DAMAGE AND MAIN RELATED FACTORS IN A COHORT OF PATIENTS WITH RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS: 124
Abstract:
Monitoring of structural damage by useful instruments is of utmost importance to control the evolution and response to treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). Objective: To evaluate the characteristics and factors associated with structural damage in a large cohort of consecutive patients with RA (ACR′ 87). Demographic and socioeconomic variables, comorbid conditions, extra-articular manifestations, and treatment received were recorded. Disease activity was evaluated by the DAS28, and functional capacity by the HAQ-A. Hand and foot w-rays were read by 7 qualified observers (CCI> 0.7), using the Sharp-van der Heijde score. Statistical analysis: a univariate analysis of continuous and adequated variables was performed. Significant variables were included in multiple linear and logistic regression models.
