COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PRACTICES: IMPACT ON THE LEARNING OF APPLICANTS TO TEACHERS AT UNIVERSIDAD DEL PACÍFICO
Abstract:
Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are obliged to carry out community linkage plans, which allow students to interact with them, with aid programs corresponding to the areas of learning that they practice, under this premise, it was established As the main objective of this research, to establish the impact of community outreach practices on the learning of aspiring teachers at the Universidad del Pacífico for the period 2021, providing the academic tutoring service for basic general education students. The quantitative approach methodology used the survey with 41 questions that were validated with a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.9. The type of research was descriptive and correlational, six dimensions were used, three for each variable and it was concluded that the hypothesis that was raised was verified, that is to say that the linking practices have a moderately high correlation with the learning of students to teachers, in this case from the University of the Pacific of Ecuador.
