COMPORTAMIENTO DEL ALISO Alnus jorullensis HBK ENFASE DE ESTABLECIMIENTO EN UN ARREGLO SILVOPASTORIL EN LAS PROPIEDADES DEL SUELO DEL ALTIPLANO DE NARIÑO

Abstract:

La presente investigación se realizó en el Centro de Investigaciones Agropecuarias y Biológicas (CIAB), ubicado en la granja Botana, localizada en el municipio de Pasto, donde se evaluó el comportamiento del aliso Alnus jorullensis HBK en las propiedades del suelo en su etapa de establecimiento, bajo un sistema silvopastoril, con pasto kikuyo (pennisetum clandestinum). El análisis de resoltados se hizo mediante toma de muestras de suelo y sus frecuencias, indican un cambio ligero en el pH (0, 3) y un incremento en los contenidos de materia orgánica (0 1%) posiblemente por lo cambios en el régimen de la precipitación y en la mayoría de los minerales. Esto demuestra que se logrará un aumento gradual en la fertilidad del suelo a largo plazo. ABSTRACT The present study was carried out at the Research Center (CIAB), located on the farm of Botana in the municipality of Pasto where the behavior of aliso Alnus Jorulle» sis HBK was evaluated m the properties of soils in their establishment stage, under a system of grass for livestock, with grass kikuvo (Pennisetum clandestinum). The analysis of results was made by means of taking of sod samples and its frequencies, they indicate a slight change in the pH (0.3) and an increment in the contents of organic matter (0, 1%) possibly because of the changes m the regime of the precipitation and in most of the minerals. This demonstrates that a gradual increase will be achieved in die fertility of the long term soils.
