Capital social en la ayuda oficial al desarrollo: claves para la reducción de desigualdades en el Ecuador
Abstract:
This research seeks to investigate the level of participation of Official Development Assistance (ODA) together with the level of social capital that meets the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) within the 2030 Agenda, specifically in objective 10 of reducing inequalities during the period 2015 - 2020 in Ecuador. Through a mixed study, it has been sought to contrast information on how much is the concentration of cooperating and executing entities in projects applied in Ecuador, under the objective of setting goal 10.2 On the other hand, the tools and techniques that were part of the investigative process to be used were through the analysis of the interactive cooperation map, in which the expected results were obtained quantitatively, and on the qualitative side, interviews were conducted with subjects who they are part of organizations with the objective. Within the investigation, it seeks to detail the different mechanisms that could be applied within Ecuador for a better function and execution of the current cooperation in the country. Among the main results, it stands out that there is a relationship between the cooperating and executing entities, which shows the parameters of social capital that are networks, trust and norms, however, there are deficiencies in terms of the efficient execution of international support within the country.
