Capítulo 9 La responsabilidad social corporativa en la industria pesquera de la Provincia de Santa Elena, año 2013

Abstract:

This research work was carried out in order to" assess the Corporate Social Responsibility in the fishing industry in the province of Santa Elena, 2013." His analysis focused on obtaining specific knowledge about fishing from internationally until concrete in the realitiesof the province of Santa Elena in Ecuador; and its close relationship with the social responsibility to keep this sector scope. In the methodology, several sources were used as the reports of national and international studies, and ethical management books, newspapers, diaries and public development plans, foreign and local regulations, among others; generating a holistic view of what constitutes both industrial and artisanal fisheries and social responsibility activity. As an effect of the research study concluded that the fisheries sector is an important source of income but the food once, generating a disjunctive constraints to apply, because it affects not only large organizations but small artisans also involves. It is therefore necessary to be aware of the negative impact to make badfishing practices that affect not only marine, species but the entire ecosystem.
