Caracterización de los materiales de subrasante en zonas no urbanizadas de la ciudad de Loja, aplicadas a obras de infraestructura vial en el polígono denominado Zamora Huayco.

Abstract:

The following research is the characterization of the subgrade materials applied to road infrastructure and the creation of a map of geotechnical zoning Polygon "Zamora Huayco" located in the city of Loja. The purpose is to present the results of the subgrade based on the systematization of physical - mechanical properties of soils also determine the bearing capacity of the subgrade. To this end the data collection, field visit, delimitation of the study area, extraction of the samples with a radius of 500 m (±) 100 each other at different depths, and material characterization is performed using the following tests laboratory moisture content, consistency limits (LL - LP - IP), sieve analysis, modified Proctor, CRB and abrasion breeding materials. Finally, for the proposed map of geotechnical zoning Polygon, modeling and development of a map was proposed to identify homogeneous geotechnical areas on the ArcGis program, depending on soil groups identified with the respective analysis of test results laboratory. From the results of the characterization of geotechnical zoning map polygon ―Zamora Huayco‖ to identify geotechnical areas with similar characteristics in the ArcGis program based on identified soil groups are created.
