Caracterización del agroecosistema cafetalero en la Sierra Sur de Oaxaca
Abstract:
This investigation described and analysed the coffea agroecosystem in the Sierra South of Oaxaca State. It was developed in social and economic context because the main activities practiced are: agricultural, forestry and handicrafts. The peasant families living in this ecosystem have implemented strategies for the use and management of natural resources, in order to meet the basic needs of food and shelter. In this investigation was analyzed the rural economics and the use of natural resources, which required to analyse the natural environment, rural society and sociocultural elements. The family labor force is classified as multi-occupational, because to survive is engaged in different sectors of the economy. The survival strategies are responses to the crisis of the regional peasant economy.
