Caracterización morfológica de hongos fitopatógenos en el cultivo de banano (musa paradisiaca l.) sector Los Laureles, cantón La Maná, Cotopaxi 2015

Abstract:

The present research was made in the Los Laureles sector, with the following coordinates: Latitude: 07° 06' 198'' S, Longitude: 98° 89' 232'' W, Altitude: 586 msnm in the La Maná canton, Cotopaxi province into the banana crop (Musa paradisiaca L.), where, it was can determined that the fungus which causes the greatest economic loss up to 50% of production, that is the black Sigatoka (Mycosphaerella fijensis), the fungus is appeared on the leaves as a brown, dark reddish spots with an approximate diameter of 0.25 mm, which joining as the disease progresses, enlarged by the death of leaf tissue. With the presented information was made a morphological characterization of the Mycosphaerella fijensis fungus, into laboratory conditions located in Latacunga at the following coordinates: Latitude: 0° 55' 44.8" S, Longitude: 78° 37.24.2'' W, Altitude: 2850 msmn, for its inoculation is made on a crop medium PDA (potato dextrose agar) and are incubated at a temperature of 23.5° C for a period of 15 days, where was determined the macro and micro structures of the fungus in study. The looked macro structures were a mycelium of white color. Also, they are looked a reddish coloration at the base of the petri box, which as the days are unfolded more rounded form colonies that spread itself throughout crop medium. The micro structures were segmented hyphae, where is started to develop the conidia, conidiophores and spores with the following dimensions: conidióforos L=34350.05μmconidios L=50048.92μm spores L=L=3911.50 um, these dimensions could be looked with a trinocular microscope and the help of a camera INFINITY (1-2 CB). With an increase of 4x, 10x, 20x, 100x, with the bibliographic references help and the made observations of the macro and micro structures was determined that the fungus in study will correspond to Mycosphaerealla fijensis.
