Causas y Efectos que Impulsaron la Innovación del Sector Eléctrico Ecuatoriano

Abstract:

The Ecuadorian electric sector is currently experiencing the best moment in its history due to the large amount of investment made, but why is it at its best? What were the causes and effects of restructuring the Ecuadorian electricity sector? These questions will be cleared in this research work starting from the beginnings of the electricity sector and how it has evolved to the present where the best numbers and statistical data that have determined that this in the best period of its history is recorded, being the most significant change in the last decade due to the great investment in generation, transition and distribution leading to strengthening the physical infrastructure and the institutional structure and making it a strategic sector managed by the state and for the benefit and development of the country.
